Chartered in 1985, our members representing a cross
section of East Cobb's business and professional community. We meet each
Wednesday morning at Indian Hill Country Club, 4001 Clubland Dr., Marietta, GA 30068 from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.to enjoy breakfast, fellowship and a community relevant and compelling guest
speaker.

Object of Rotary
|
The object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the
ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and,
in particular, to encourage and foster:
First: The development of acquaintance as an
opportunity for service;
Second: Promote high ethical standards in
business and professions; the recognition of the
worthiness of all useful occupations; and the
dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an
opportunity to serve society;
Third: Applying the ideal of service in each
Rotarian's personal, business and community
life;
Fourth: The advancement of international
understanding, goodwill, and peace through a
world fellowship of business and professional
persons united in the ideal of service.

Community and International Service
Projects include: |
- Eradication of polio worldwide
- East Cobb Foundation which supports local charities and educational programs such as Chattahoochee Tech and Wheeler Learning Links
- International Group Study Exchanges (GSE)
- Sponsorship of the Georgia Rotary Student Program (GRSP) which provides scholarships for international students to study in Georgia.
- Other service activities during the year.

The East Cobb Rotary Club has been awarded the District Project of the Year for initiating the annual Cobb Rotary Challenge, a multi-event fellowship and fundraising competition among all the Cobb County Rotary clubs.
